This year for Thanksgiving we went to the country club for their Thanksgiving Buffet. It was a lot of fun but, I think next year we are going to buy a smoker and let the Churnmeister smoke a turkey. You are all welcome to come and join us!
We went to the Homestead National Park and learned about the early homesteaders. It was really interesting and it made me appreciate all the things that make my life so easy. Those homesteaders worked very hard for very little return. Their only hope was to make things better for their children and grandchildren.
The kids had fun filling out their little workbooks there and becoming junior rangers. We also put up our Christmas Decorations. It was a good Thanksgiving Weekend.
