The boys had lots of fun trying to touch the lizards along the trail. They pretended that if they touched a lizard it would change their DNA and they would become lizards. They talked about were they would live and what they would eat. It was really fun to listen to them. Early the next morning the youngest boy woke up and was very disappointed that he hadn't turned into a lizard. I guess he wasn't pretending.
This picture was taken right before he fell asleep. We hiked this little boy over 5 miles. He was exhausted but, he enjoyed every minute.
