Our next destination was Palo Alto, Ca. The Churnmeister had a conference to attend at Standford.
While the Churnmeister was busy at the conference I took the kids to campus and had little look around. Don't be fooled by the picture--we got rained on here too.
This is Hoover Tower. It is named for President and Mrs. Hoover. President Hoover was a great supporter of the university.
We got to go up into the bell tower and see views of the whole city.
That same afternoon we decided to get out of the rain and cool temperatures and go to a movie. We saw "Kung Fu Panda, 2" it was really cute and a nice way to spend an afternoon.
