Our trip started with Snow on Memorial Day as we were preparing to leave Salt Lake City.
We drove across the Salt Flats. I remember making this drive dozens of times when we lived in California. It was fun to go back and see it all again.
Our first stop was Davis, Ca. We were able to have dinner at my favorite restaurant "Dos Coyotes" with four other families. It was awesome to see old friends again and to see our children play together again. We knew each other before any of us had children and now there are 18 kids.
These beautiful and amazing ladies have been very important in my life and I am grateful we got a chance to chat and talk and enjoy each others company again.

Holy Moses! What a trip! It looks like you had a blast but that's a lot of time in the car with your most dear ones.
