The "Jedi" Birthday Party

Our birthday boy wanted a "Jedi" birthday party. So, we made light saber cupcakes and had "Yoda Sodas". We made light sabers with foam pipe insulation and duct tape. We tried to play games like, Light-Saber Training with balloons, Pin the Saber on Yoda, Destroy the Death Star and Droid, Droid, Storm Tropper. We also tried a jedi mission/treasure hunt. I say tried because trying to manage 10 little Jedi's in training proved to be quite interesting. The boys did enjoy the cupcakes and ate all 20. The birthday boy said it was a great birthday party and if the screaming and yelling was any indication the guests enjoyed themselves too. Happy Birthday to our favorite seven-year old and may the Force be with you.
