This weekend the Churnmster had a little business to do in the west end of the state. So, he decided to bring sweet cream #1 along for company.
We had lots of fun together, here we are hanging out at the hotel.
We went down to Chimney Rock and had tons of FUN.
The Churnmeister, himself
This is me up at Scott's Bluff, the mountains of Nebraska.
This is Pioneer Pass
Here I am next to a covered wagon at the Pass.
I am standing on the ol' Oregon Trail.
Here is a poem Sweet Cream wrote while on the trip:
Wouldn't it be fun, if you could touch the sun?
Isn't it a shame, you can't always feel the rain?
On your face, in your hair?
On the ground and everywhere?
You can try and you can fail, but with luck you might prevail.

Lance has read the book in the first picture three times and just started on book 2. Those are some great pictures. And she's such a talented poet! :)
