Well, you'd think that we would have learned our lesson with our recent foray into Battlestar Galactica, but you'd be wrong.
We found something else to watch, "Firefly." Imagine if you will the offspring of Bonanza and Buck Rogers if Buck Rogers was 1/2 Pirate: That's "Firefly." Unfortunately, it was only produced for a single season before it was canceled.
Ironically, it won an Emmy in 2003 (the year after it was canceled) and in 2005, New Scientist magazine's website held an internet poll to find "The World's Best Space Sci-Fi Ever." Firefly came in first place.
It was also been named the #25 best cult series of all time and a feature length film, "Serenity" was also produced.
Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on your point of view) for the Mistress and Meister, the four DVD's from season one have exhausted themselves and we are back to the unhappy state of having nothing to watch.
